What is happening with Ask an Expert and Ask an Expert Live?

Ask and Expert and Ask an Expert Live on Mathway will be discontinued around June 30, 2021, and subscribers to these features will be refunded as per Mathway, Apple, and Google policies (depending on where you initiated your subscription).

Why are you discontinuing Ask an Expert and Ask an Expert Live?

We always strive to provide the best products for our students, and while in this case, it means discontinuing Ask and Expert features, Mathway will continue to help students succeed via our step-by-step subscription product, and continued investment in new subjects and question types answerable by Mathway’s solver.

When Ask an Expert and Ask an Expert Live shut down?

Ask an Expert and Ask an Expert Live features will shut down around June 30, 2021. If you have an active subscription, you may continue using the feature until then. No new questions can be submitted after that date.

What will happen to my Ask an Expert or Ask an Expert Live subscription?

If you subscribed to Ask and Expert or Ask an Expert Live via web, your subscription will be cancelled, you will receive a credit for the remaining duration of your subscription, and Mathway will automatically activate your step by step subscription. If you subscribed to Ask and Expert or Ask an Expert Live on an iOS or Android device, your subscription will be cancelled and you will be refunded as per Apple / Google’s app subscription policies. You will need to re-subscribe to a monthly or annual step by step subscription.
